“Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers — strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength."
—Barbara Katz Rothman
My services
Prenatal
We will schedule two prenatal meetings where we will discuss your birth plan, any fears you have, and how I (your doula) and your partner can best support you.
Virtual Support
I am available via text, call, facetime, zoom, etc. I like to stay informed after prenatal visits and am always around to answer questions and provide resources as needed.
This is true for before your birth, and after!

Pregnancy and birth can be an emotional rollercoaster. I am a trained birth professional with knowledge of the emotional changes that can happen within moments. I will coach you through decision making, and empower YOU to make informed choices. I am here to support you, validate you, and encourage you to trust your body and your baby.

A note from a first time Dad:
“Having another person there (who knows what’s actually going on) was invaluable. It took the weight off of my shoulders to know how to best support my wife. And that allowed me to just focus on being present with her through the entire process.”
Doulas are a source of support for expectant mothers AND partners.
Partners, I am here to help you help her.
When you lean into the role of supporting a birthing momma, you will find a connection like no other. I am here to facilitate that connection.

Pregnancy and childbirth come with so many unknowns. While I am not a crystal ball, I can provide information and resources about your specific, non-medical questions. I am also a great resource when it comes to learning HOW to best communicate with care providers, friends, and family.
Documentation
I am happy to capture some moments in all stages of birth through pictures and videos. I will always prioritize mom over photos, however I do my best to capture the beauty of the process (if a birth photographer is not present or not able to attend).
I also provide a written outline/description of your labor and birth experience as a keepsake for you.
Postpartum
After your life-changing, incredible, miraculous experience of birthing a human, we will schedule two meetings:
One visit is required, ideally 1-2 weeks after birth and the other (if you would like) will be 4-6 weeks after birth.
The purpose of these appointments is to follow-up about your birth experience, check on you and how you are adjusting to adding another human to your day-to-day life, and answer any postpartum questions.
